It is amazing to look back now and realise that a year has passed since Thistle Admin came into being. It was established thanks to ideas from friends, family and a great amount of prayer and faith.
I was extremely blessed to start out with a customer already in place and that gave me the time to find my feet and start to understand this totally new business concept. I am my own boss! If I don’t do something and find work, there will be no salary being paid into my bank account. A very scary thought at first…..
An enormous thank you to all my friends and family who have support and cheered me on. For the many who passed my information on to colleagues, managers and friends in the need of an assistant in a variety of formats. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank the acquaintances and friends who have chosen me to assist with their businesses.
Thanks to these many special people who have passed my name on and chosen me as their assistant, I have been blessed to now have a thriving business as a virtual assistant.
There were some tough days in 2021 after developing Covid which decided it was going to set of a whole cascade of problems and issues but I have persevered and survived 2021 with my husband and my children’s support.
I learnt a lot about who I am:
- Determined
- Enthusiastic
- Passionate
- Scared (but I also learnt that it is okay to be scared – sometimes that is how you take the next step forward to new and better places)
I love being able to help my clients with their wide variety of requirements and each day is unique and filled with different tasks which is marvelous.
